New Orleans. Year 2005. Three days after Hurricane Katrina devastated the entire coast of Louisiana. Surrounding towns were evacuated, thousands piled in the local stadium, streets were flooded like miniature rivers through the city. A ghost town. A vulnerable ghost town.
All eyes were watching the disaster unfolding on their televisions, they weren’t watching the two clans moving in to claim their new territory. They snuck with the storm, in the dead of night.
Vampires, an old ancient clan spanning back from the middle ages. Full of power and royal blood. They chose an old abandoned factory, plenty of dark hiding places for their coffins in tow.
Werewolves, a younger, more ambitious group full of misfits who couldn’t fit in with the human population. They chose the abandoned plantation at the edge of New Orleans, right next to the cemetery.
The relocation was to seek out a Seer. There had been rumours that the end of a race was coming, that it would happen in New Orleans. Because of a single girl. The death of this girl would cause the world to burn.
To save this girl or the help end this girl’s life, both sides have their own goals.
The vampires would love to see the world burn, to gather humans for personal buffets. But there are a few vampires who are wary if it is their race meant for doom. Killing the girl seems to be a general opinion with them, but there will always be debate. They seem to live for chaos, for the glory days.
The werewolves wouldn’t wish their curse on anyone else, they want to save the girl. Keep the world at a balance. The world needs all the races, humans, vampires, werewolves - a fragile balance.
A fragile balance that is safe guarded by the Council. When the werewolves and vampires moved, en masse, into New Orleans they were followed by this ancient organisation – hailing from before Christ, the Council have been protecting humanity from vampires and werewolves for generations. Ordinary humans with extraordinary knowledge, and a fortune to afford to arm themselves, the Council moved into New Orleans, building a new office block in the centre of the city, to keep a watchful eye on both sides.
The race is on to find this seer. The Seer knows who this girl is, but protects her identity. Problem is, there a hundreds of Seers in New Orleans, and each investigation to this day has led to dead ends.
As the city recovers, humans return to normal day to day life. The possibility of finding this girl increases with each day.
The race to save the world or end the world has begun. Which side will you chose? Do you prefer Chaos or Peace? How the story unravels is entirely up to you!
